Cuco, 21, real name Omar Banos, is a Mexican American singer/songwriter who was discovered after Miami rapper Pouya retweeted an instrumental guitar cover he posted on Twitter.

After hitting 36.2m Spotify listens on his track Lo Que Siento, Banos played gigs across America, Europe and the UK, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and the Governor’s Ball. However, in 2018, Cuco and his bandmates nearly lost their lives in a car crash when travelling between venues – the crew have since recovered and he used his experiences as inspiration for his 2019 debut album, Para Mi. Banos is currently touring the United States after signing a seven-figure record deal with Interscope Records earlier this year.
