Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney has teamed up with American safety brand First Alert, starring in its new ad campaign ahead of Fire Prevention Month.

Kinney encourages viewers to 'talk to their families about fire safety', reminding them how to best protect their homes, and commented 'As a firefighter on TV, the importance of fire safety and outfitting your home with alarms is definitely something in my wheelhouse'.
