Jacqueline Frances, better known by her stage name Jacq the Stripper, is a Canadian comedian, writer, artist and stripper.

After graduating with a degree in Russian Literature and a short stint in modelling, Frances started stripping and ‘fell in love’ with the job, calling it a ‘lucrative way to survive the confines of patriarchal capitalism’. After moving to New York in 2012, Frances began using her work as inspiration for stand-up comedy performances and artwork, earning praise for her provocative performances, watercolours and comics. Known for championing sex-positive attitudes and rights for the worldwide sex worker community, Frances contributed on-screen, and as a consultant, for the recent film Hustlers, aiming to fight back against prejudice and representation of sex workers in mainstream media.
