Elle Fanning, Yorgos Lanthimos, Pawel Pawlikowski, Kelly Reichardt, Alice Rohrwacher, and Maimouna N'Diaye, have been announced as part of the jury for the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, led by Birdman director Alejandro González Iñárritu.

The jury will reveal their prizes during the festival's closing ceremony on May 25, and Cannes president Pierre Lescure and artistic director Thierry Frémaux jointly commented 'The Cannes Jury is invited to see films directed by the greatest filmmakers of our time - which is the case again this year. Everyone of the directors being part of the competition also has to know they will be considered by strong artists - which is also the case!'.
