Emma Corrin, a 23-year-old actress, discovered her love for drama at school, which encouraged her to take a Shakespeare course at LAMDA during a gap year, before attending Cambridge University.
While studying Education with English and Drama at Cambridge, she honed her acting skills starring in local theatre productions including Unravelling The Ribbon and Mojo. Despite only gracing TV screens in one episode of ITV’s Granchester, Corrin is now due to become a household name after being cast in the coveted role of Diana, Princess of Wales, in Netflix’s The Crown, with filming beginning later this year. The young actress will also make her film debut in 2019, appearing opposite Keeley Hawes, Keira Knightley and Jessie Buckley in Philippa Lowthorpe’s upcoming comedy-drama Misbehaviour about the 1970 Miss World competition.
