Mowalola Ogunlesi, a Nigerian fashion designer based in London, made her debut with her Central St Martins graduation collection in June 2017.

Specialising in menswear inspired by Nigerian psychedelic rock, Ogunlesi has since costumed videos for Skepta, dressed Dev Hynes and counts Solange Knowles and Kelela among celebrity fans. She made her London Fashion Week debut in January 2019, taking centre stage as part of the non-profit organisation Fashion East, showcasing her eponymous label. With nods from i-D and Vogue, and having previously collaborated with Ruth Ossai and Ib Kamara on a lookbook, the designer is set to start retailing her clothes this year.
