Arlo Parks, an 18 year old singer/songwriter hailing from south west London, struggled with her identity at school, branding herself a 'self-confessed tomboy who was super sensitive and uncool'.

By the time she’d reached 17, she’d already managed to collate enough material for an album, inspired by spoken word poetry and artists including King Krule. Catapulted into the limelight late last year, and wowing audiences with her confessional debut single, Cola, Parks found herself named on The Independent's Ones to Watch for 2019 round-up, attracting praise from publications including The Line of Best Fit, FADER, London In Stereo and Wonderland. Following a recent premiere on Noisey, the London based singer/songwriter has released the video for her second single, Super Sad Generation, directed by London based BFI Future Films Festival nominee filmmaker Molly Burdett, 'acting as a snapshot into life of generation Z'.
