Edward Bluemel, 25, may have starred opposite the likes of Kara Tointon in The Halcyon and Matthew Goode in A Discovery of Witches, but it’s his turn as Hugo in the anticipated second season of Killing Eve which is set to propel him to stardom.

Born in Somerset, the actor first attended Taunton School before enrolling in the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he later received his BA degree in acting. Bluemel is also an accomplished stage actor, and has treaded the boards at theatres including the Soho Theatre, the Menier Chocolate Factory and the Apollo Theatre. With Killing Eve set to explode onto our screens in 2019, Bluemel will also be seen in How To Build A Girl – an adaptation of Caitlin Moran’s best-seller.
