Kidd Kenn, 15, started writing at the age of 13 and first established himself as a rapper by posting covers songs on SoundCloud and Instagram, tagging music manager Sharron Beverly in a bid to be granted studio time with her.

Making his mark as one of the few openly gay rappers on the scene, Kenn, 15, has attracted the attention of singer Kehlani, who invited him to duet with her at San Francisco Pride, and also performed at Red Bull Music Festival, an event showcasing the best of Chicago's ‘queer underground’ in November. The young rapper has recently released his first full length music project, Childish, featuring hit single Eriod, and has his sights set on a Nicki Minaj collaboration for 2019.
