The BBC has announced Angelina Jolie will guest edit Radio 4's Today programme, December 28, as part of BBC Radio's festive schedule, covering topics including violence against women in war zones and the refugee crisis.

Other guest editors include broadcaster David Dimbleby and author Kamila Shamsie, with Take That presenting a two hour BBC Radio 2 special on Christmas Day. Bob Shennan, the BBC's director of radio and music, describes the schedule as 'an unrivalled collection of programmes'.
