BBC Radio 1 presenter Annie Mac has been named the first Festival Tourism Ambassador for Malta, following her continued support of the Mediterranean island through her AMP Lost & Found festival, now in its fifth year.

The Irish DJ was presented with the title by Malta's Tourism Minister, Dr Konrad Mizzi, and posted on Instagram 'Was so honoured to be made "Festival Tourism Ambassador For Malta" yesterday by the Maltese Minister for Tourism - myself and the whole of team @amplostandfound LOVE Malta and are so looking forward to getting back next year'.
