Sofia Mitsola, born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1992, is well on her way to becoming an accomplished artist despite her young age and recent graduate status.

Known for her abstract portraits exploring female nudity, Mitsola was one of 34 young artists featured in Saatchi Art’s Invest in Art Report 2018, encouraging collectors to ‘discover tomorrow’s art stars today’. In September, Mitsola was one of seven promising graduates to be awarded Tiffany & Co’s Studiomakers Prize Initiative, receiving a rent-free studio space in London for a year, and with a growing portfolio of work and a year-long opportunity to kick-start her career, and she looks set to become one of the art world's future stars.
