Net-A-Porter has announced the launch of a new platform, The Vanguard, to 'celebrate and nurture' rising fashion brands and 'create an ecosystem for emerging talent to thrive'.
The Vanguard will act as an incubator programme for three or four fledgling brands per season, providing mentorship, practical advice and marketing support, and the first four brands for autumn/winter 2018 are Les Rêveries, Martinez, RŪH, and Gu_de. Net-A-Porter president Alison Loehnis commented 'Net-A-Porter has always taken a long-term approach to nurturing new designers, and I see The Vanguard as formalising this commitment in a way that will make a real difference to young brands'.
