Chris Walley, 23, first took drama classes at the age of eight, before joining the prestigious National Youth Theatre.

After a few years of amateur theatre work, the Irish actor landed his first screen acting job in 2016’s The Young Offenders, a film about two teenage boys who embark on a quest to find a missing bale of cocaine worth €7m. The dark comedy became the fastest Irish film to take €1m at the domestic box office, received an IFTA Gala Award and was later adapted into a six part series, released on BBC’s iPlayer in March. With a critical and box office hit under his belt, Walley now impresses in his West End stage debut, earning rave reviews for his role in Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore opposite Poldark’s Aidan Turner and Peaky Blinders’ Charlie Murphy.
