Kim Cattrall, Lena Headey, Noma Dumezweni, and Jamael Westman have collaborated with International Rescue Committee and Shakespeare's Globe, launching a new short film to mark World Refugee Day, June 20.
The film, shot at The Globe theatre, features the actors taking part in a 'unique performance' of Shakespeare's speech The Strangers' Case, often cited as 'a rallying cry for humanity', from The Book of Sir Thomas More, starring opposite refugees from Syria, Sierra Leone and South Sudan 'in an expression of unity with all those who have fled conflict overseas'.
