The BBC has announced its plans for the World Cup coverage on TV, radio and digital platforms.
Gary Lineker will lead TV coverage, where he'll be joined by the likes of Alan Shearer, Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard and Phil Neville to deliver analysis and commentary on the games, with Gabby Logan presenting updates and interviews. Mark Chapman and Kelly Cates will present live from every game on BBC Radio 5 Live, with Robbie Savage presenting the weekday World Cup Breakfast Show, and Barbara Slater, director of BBC Sport, commented 'This event deserves expert comment, analysis and insight and our unrivalled line-up of presenters, pundits and commentators are sure to engage viewers and listeners as excitement builds throughout the tournament'.
