British actress Amanda Redman has partnered with the British Red Cross to support the charity's volunteering scheme, which aims to strengthen emergency response in local communities, and has signed up to become a Community Reserve Volunteer (CRV).
The Good Karma Hospital star was inspired to lend her support after the Grenfell Tower fire, and commented 'Most of us have busy lives, but as a CRV you'll only be contacted if there is a crisis in your area and you don't need specialist skills'.
