Mo Gilligan, also known as Mo The Comedian, has gone from working as a shop assistant at Levi's Covent Garden to becoming one of the most talked-about up and coming comedians in Britain, in the space of a year.

The 30 year old began making a name for himself on social media, where he regularly uploaded short clips of his comedy characters, becoming popular with the likes of Drake, Wiley and Stormzy. Since then, Gilligan's performed as part of Teenage Cancer Trust’s series of music and comedy shows at The Royal Albert Hall, kicked off a 20 show run at The Leicester Square Theatre, and announced his Coupla Cans UK stand-up tour. Branching out into the TV world, the young comedian is also set to start filming a new Channel 4 late night entertainment show with Big Narstie in June, titled The Big Narstie Show, which he'll co-host with the UK rapper.
