Ms Banks, the 23 year old rapper who honed her musical skills on the playground at the age of 11, is now graduating into the commercial charts and being championed by A-list musicians.

The south London MC has collaborated with fellow Brits Stefflon Don, JME and Stormzy, supported Cardi B on her UK tour and, last December, following an appearance on the remix of Stylo G’s single Yu Zimme, was recognised by pop/rap star Nicki Minaj who tweeted 'Had all my ppl reciting the verse over n over last night'. Starting this year strong, Ms Banks released her single Come Thru in January, and is preparing to release her Coldest Winter Ever EP, inspired by the 1999 novel of the same name by the American rapper and author Sister Souljah. After speaking to Minaj via Twitter DMs, Banks also hinted at a collaboration, saying in an interview with i-D that she has 'some other stuff in the pipeline too' but wants to 'keep that a secret' for now.
