Lena Headey appointed an IRC Voice

31 01 2018

British actress Lena Headey, recognised for her portrayal of Cersei Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones, has teamed up with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to raise awareness of refugees and people who've been displaced by war.

The 300 star will also become an IRC Voice, speaking up for the world's most vulnerable people, and commented 'At a time when over 65 million people across the world have been forced to flee their homes, I believe it is vital to do everything I can to bring people together and to recognise that at our core, we are all connected. I look forward to standing with the International Rescue Committee to use my voice to speak up on behalf of refugees'.
