Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai and Apple CEO Tim Cook have announced a partnership to expand grants awarded and education programmes offered to more than 100,000 girls in India and Latin America.

Cook commented 'We believe that education is a great equalising force, and we share Malala Fund's commitment to give every girl an opportunity to go to school.
