Henry Fraser’s life changed drastically back in 2009, when he was just 17 years old.
On the fifth day of his holiday in Portugal with a group of friends, what Fraser thought would be a quick dip in the sea changed his life forever, as he misjudged his dive, dislocated his neck leaving him paralysed from the shoulders down. Despite his life being turned upside down, Fraser decided he wouldn’t let this interfere with what he loved doing – painting. However this time, he would painting with a brush in his mouth. The now 25 year old, who is known for his images of landscapes, animals and various sports stars, has gone on to receive the support of Jonathan Ross, who invited him onto his show last month, as well as the likes of David Beckham and JK Rowling, who wrote the foreword for his debut book The Little Big Things, which gives an insight into his life and how he faces daily obstacles, no matter how big or small.
