Tessa Coates may be known for her acting appearances on stage and screen and her comedy group Massive Dad, but this summer her debut solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Primates, made her one of the hottest up and comers on the stand-up comedy circuit.

About anthropology, relationships and the importance of storytelling, Primates was described by Chortle as 'a delightfully funny, smart show', while The List praised it as a 'promising debut'.
