After making his TV debut in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, British actor Jonno Davies is headed for New York after branching out into the world of theatre.

Having appeared in London productions including Shakespeare in Love at the Noël Coward Theatre and A Midsummer Night's Dream at the National Theatre, the 25 year old was cast to play the lead in the stage adaptation of Anthony Burgess's dystopian crime story, A Clockwork Orange, at The Park Theatre earlier this year. After receiving rave reviews, he was then recast in the role for the show's transfer off-Broadway, and the young actor is now set to tread the boards at the New World Stages in New York from September until the beginning of 2018.
