British actress and writer Milly Thomas has made appearances on screen in Downton Abbey and Quacks, but it's her recent stage work that's brought the Londoner critical acclaim.

Described as 'the next Phoebe Waller-Bridge', Thomas is starring in two self-written plays, Dust and Brutal Cessation at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this month. Dust, a one woman show and an exploration of suicide and depression, has achieved a string of five star reviews and has been described as 'profane and wickedly morose' by the Reviews Hub and 'utterly absorbing' by the Scotsman.
