A Series of Unfortunate Events star Neil Patrick Harris has signed a book deal with Egmont Publishing, where he will release his new four-part children's series, The Magic Misfits.

The first of the series, which centres on the 'thrilling adventures of a gang of young magicians', will be published in hardback on November 30, followed by the paperback in 2018, and Harris commented 'Playing with the elements of magic, adventure and friendship, The Magic Misfits is the kind of series that would have thrilled me as a kid. And I hope it does just that for today’s young readers'.
