Luke Cockerill, protégé of celebrated chef Michael O’Hare, may only be 21 but he’s already well respected in the food industry.

Kickstarting his career at O’Hare’s Blind Wine in York, Cockerill, only 17 at the time, earned his chef’s whites and worked his way to the top. Cockerill’s new place, the Rabbit in the Moon, is part of O’Hare’s group but the menu and ‘feel’ of the restaurant is solely his. Described by his Michelin starred boss as creative and dynamic, we’re sure this budding young chef is one to watch.
