X Factor boss Simon Cowell has announced he's organising the release of a charity single to raise funds for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

Cowell, who lives close to the tower, is calling on musicians to come together to take part and record the single this weekend (June 17-18). Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he commented 'What I'm hoping will happen with the record is that it pricks a few people's consciousness and then other people decide to do something else, because I think we can do more in addition to just the record. That's my plan'.
