Together for over ten years and performing since the age of 13, five piece funk and pop band Heman Sheman are shaking up the London guitar scene with their tight grooves and vast range of influences including De La Soul and Velvet Underground.

Originally from Manchester, but now living in Hackney, Heman Sheman have attracted the attention of BBC Introducing, The Guardian, NME and Lauren Laverne at BBC 6 Music thanks to their hits Working Man and Who Wants To Love. 2017 is already looking like a big year for the group, as they were recently crowned the winners of the Hot Vox New Blood Competition, beating 2000 other artists in getting the chance to perform on the Hard Rock Café stage at the Isle Of Wight festival.
