Ukrainian football manager and former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has been announced as the latest Team Europe ambassador for The 2018 Ryder Cup, taking place September 28-30 next year at Le Golf National in Paris.

Shevchenko is the second ambassador to be announced, after French sailor Armel Le Cléac’h, and commented 'I’m so happy and so proud to be an ambassador for The Ryder Cup. It’s a great event, one of the best events in sport... Speaking to some of the players, they are all extremely excited about it'.
