British musician and Yes keyboard player Rick Wakeman has been announced as an ambassador for animal welfare charity Animals Asia.

Wakeman has been a supporter of the charity since 2013, and Jill Robinson, founder and CEO of Animals Asia, commented 'We can't thank him enough for his vital work in raising awareness of animal suffering in Vietnam and China. People around the world know and love Rick, and that reach allows the truth about bear bile farming and the cruel dog meat trade - so rife with illegality - to reach so many more people. We’re delighted that he has agreed to officially become our ambassador'.
