Vinaite was scouted for her role in The Florida Project, which also stars Willem Dafoe, via Instagram, where she's gained notoriety with her profitable marijuana merchandise. Commenting on his choice to pick Vinaite as one of his leads, filmmaker Baker said 'It was a gamble I’m very happy I took'.
