The Great British Bake Off 2016 contestant Benjamina Ebuehi has been announced as an ambassador for the Luminary Bakery, a café and social enterprise which aims to empower disadvantaged women through courses and employment opportunities.

As part of the partnership, Ebuehi will host a baking masterclass, as well as creating a 'top secret' product to be sold at the new Stoke Newington café, with proceeds going towards supporting women who've experienced sexual exploitation, homelessness, domestic violence or criminal convictions. Ebuehi commented 'I believe that the gifts and talents we've been given should be shared and used to benefit and encourage others - I've chosen to do that through partnering with Luminary Bakery. They are doing a wonderful job of equipping, training and listening to women, and I’m so excited to be a part of the journey'.
