Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has agreed to be 'silenced on Twitter' for 24 hours on Red Nose Day (March 24), while wearing the shirt of his rival football team Tottenham Hotspur, if £50k is raised for Comic Relief.
Lord Alan Sugar has already donated £5k to make Morgan 'shut up' for the day, along with Rio Ferdinand, Bradley Walsh and Holly Willoughby who've all made donations via www.justgiving.com/fundraising/shutuppiers. Morgan commented 'My humiliation is looking far more likely than I feared when I recklessly made this pledge'.
