Sir Ranulph Fiennes backs League Against Cruel Sports

24 02 2017

Explorer Sir Sir Ranulph Fiennes and TOWIE star Chloe Meadows have teamed up to support the League Against Cruel Sports's campaign to increase sentences for dog fighters.

The pair met outside The Houses of Parliament today (February 24), joined by TV vet Marc Abraham and MPs Kevin Foster and Anna Turley, and Fiennes commented 'Dog fighting is one of the most heinous forms of animal cruelty.... If the current law is to ever serve as a real deterrent to dog fighters or other perpetrators of animal cruelty, the current maximum six month custodial sentence must be increased to at least three years'.
