Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and rock singer Sammy Hagar have teamed up to launch Santo Mezquila, a premium blend of tequila and the distillate used to produce mezcal.

The spirit, launching US-wide in the first quarter of 2017, is made in the famed El Viejito distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, and Levine commented 'With Santo you get that smooth, full agave, rich tequila flavour with a touch of smoky-sweetness that you can only find with Mezcal – perfect for sipping'.
