British comedian, actor, writer, presenter and activist Stephen Fry has been announced as Norwich Film Festival's newest patron, following in the footsteps of Olivia Colman, Brian Cox and Tim McInnerny in supporting the development of the festival.

Fry commented 'It was in Norwich that I learned to love film.... Very proud now to be a patron of a festival that encourages people from Norfolk, Norwich and beyond to be enchanted, beguiled and entranced by all kinds of film that might not otherwise reach them'.
