Melbourne based novelist Sarah Schmidt is set to be one of the breakout literary stars of 2017 as she releases her debut novel See What I Have Done in May.

Already gaining buzz through social media and word of mouth, the novel retells the brutal axe-murder of the Borden family and follows the story of the police investigation and, of course, the infamous Lizzie Borden. The novel has already been getting rave reviews from early readers - The Girl On The Train author Paula Hawkins called it 'eerie and compelling', while The Last Act of Love author Cathy Rentzenbrink said it was 'powerful, visceral and disturbing'. See What I Have Done, about love, violence, identity and family, is going to be one of the biggest novels of 2017.
