Despite only being nine years old, August Maturo has already been acting for five years, kicking off his career by starring in TV shows including How I Met Your Mother and Suburgatory.

In 2014, Maturo landed his first major role in the Disney Channel original series, Girl Meets World, playing Auggie Matthews. Alongside acting, he is an avid singer and piano player, and a keen supporter of PETA, which led him to star in a 2016 campaign video for PETA Kids, alongside fellow actress McKenna Grace.
