Atlanta based rapper Russ Vitale, best known by his stage name Russ, started writing music at seven and recorded his first song at 18.

Since then, the 87 songs on his SoundCloud – produced, mastered and written by himself - have amassed over 140 million views. After a string of sold out shows on his Yung God Tour, the hip-hop artist is going from strength to strength, being billed as ‘one of the fastest growing musicians of 2016’ and one of Vevo’s Ones To Watch 2017 in the space of a few months. Despite his newly found success, recognition hasn’t come instantly for the 24 year old, who often tells his 150k Twitter followers that he has had to work for his fame, and was called ‘Hip Hop’s Newest 10-Year Overnight Success’ by Forbes magazine.
