Celebrities including Simon Cowell, Claudia Winkleman, Ant Middleton, Honey G and Robert Rinder have all shown support towards The Sun's #SmilesAtChristmas appeal, calling on the public to donate money and toys to children's charities Scotty’s Little Soldiers, AMAR, Children with Cancer UK and Women's Aid this festive season.

The Sun has partnered with newsagent McColl's and toy shop ToysRUs, where the public can donate the items, and the newspaper's editor-in-chief Tony Gallagher commented 'Sun readers never fail to amaze me with their generosity towards those in need. This Christmas we want to bring a smile to the faces of children affected by war, disease and family troubles, so please dig a little deeper and make sure 2017 is the start of something special for these kids'.
