British actress Amy Wren will be taking a leading role in ITV’s brand new series Tutankhamun this October, starring alongside Sam Neil and Max Irons.

The actress, 27, will be playing Lady Evelyn Carnarvon in the retelling of British archaeologist Howard Carter's search for the remains of Tutankhamun. Wren previously starred in the BBC's The Last Kingdom and Andrea Arnold’s Wuthering Heights opposite Kaya Scodelario. Further credits include the hit Channel 4 series Skins, Legends with Sean Bean for TNT, and the BBC series Silk with Maxine Peake.
