After completing his training at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2013, Arthur Hughes was honoured with the prestigious BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award, winning a five month salaried contract with the BBC Radio Drama Company.

Following this, the actor appeared as King James I in the Richard Burton Company’s production of Anne Boleyn and later performed at the National Theatre in Jack Thorne’s The Solid Life of Sugar Water. Now, the 24 year old is set to play Ladvenu in Saint Joan alongside Bond Girl Gemma Arterton at The Donmar later this year.
