Wayne Hemingway named National Citizen Service ambassador

12 09 2016

The National Citizen Service has named fashion designer Wayne Hemingway as its new ambassador in the North East.

NCS is a government-backed business programme for 16 to 17 year olds, with over 275,000 teenagers taking part. Hemingway commented 'It makes sense for me to join as NCS North East's social action ambassador as we have a shared passion for volunteering opportunities for young people, and empowering community social action. I'm looking forward to sharing advice and expertise with the next generation of thrifty entrepreneurs'.
