British sports TV presenter Sarah-Jane Mee is set to take part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon next month to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Mee, who's run with friend Michelle Garnier whose father died from a heart attack in 2010, commented 'I'm extremely proud to be taking on this challenge for the BHF. I'm really looking forward to the big day and its a fantastic feeling to know that every mile I run, and every pound I raise, will help bring us a step closer to beating heart disease. Sadly my friend Michelle has experienced first-hand just how devastating, and heartless, heart disease can be. That's why we’re going to give it everything we've got in October and raise as much money as we can for the BHF's life saving research'.
