Charity organisation Help Refugees has launched a new #Refugenes campaign with celebrity supporters including Rita Ora, Ben Elton, Jamie Cullum, Bella Freud, Esther Freud, Shingai Shoniwa, Yasmin Kadi, Lord The Estate of Lord Richard Rogers, Rabbi Harry Jacobi and Shappi Khorsandi.

Help Refugees works across Greece, the Greek islands, Calais, Paris, Turkey, Lebanon and beyond to highlight the contribution refugees and their families make to modern society. Lliana Bird, co-founder of Help Refugees, commented 'We hope Refugenes will help to show refugees in a different light. Too often they are portrayed as a burden on society - we hope our film serves as a reminder that refugees are unique individuals with the potential to enrich our societies and future generations'.
