American actress Vanessa Williams has been named ambassador for skincare brand proactiv alongside her daughter Sasha Fox, making the pair the first ambassador duo for the brand.

Williams, who was named spokeswomen for the brand in 2002, will star in TV and digital campaigns with Fox, and commented 'People noticed a difference about the way I present myself. I always tell them that it's because of proactiv. When someone compliments me on my skin, I know that the time and effort I put into taking care of my acne has paid off. It makes me feel really, really good about myself'.
