The Fight Hunger Foundation has announced Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor as its first Goodwill Ambassador.

The charity aims to raise awareness of malnutrition, which kills over one million children in India every year, and Kapoor commented 'It is inconceivable to me that there are children who do not have access to proper nutrition and clean water. We cannot build a productive and peaceful world on empty stomachs'.
