Twin brothers Livio and Lorenzo Belpassi may have started their careers in sports management and semi-professional rugby, but their current vocation as meatball connoisseurs is set to make their name.
Raised in Wimbledon, the pair 'dreamed of opening a neighbourhood restaurant’ focusing on Italian inspired food. After travelling around Italy in search of recipes, the brothers opened up a month-long House of Peroni pop-up focusing on meatballs. From there, they acquired a van and opened another pop-up, this time in Old Spitalfields Market. Now, the duo are set to open their first restaurant in Tooting, with a menu dedicated to the humble meatball.
