Outlander star Sam Heughan has been announced as Barbour's first global brand ambassador, and will work closely with the brand's design team to develop his own capsule collection.

Heughan commented 'I have a great passion for the company and their employees that it feels more like I've been welcomed into their extended family. I very much look forward to designing my own capsule collection based on this ethos and to representing the brand in the UK, the US and internationally'.
